WCT Series water-cooled traps offer an extremely effective method for cooling the incoming high-temperature gas stream before it can enter the backing pump, condense, and contaminate the pump. WCT Series traps increase tool uptime and extend maintenance intervals.
The WCT Series traps use a chilled water supply, which should be supplied at 40psi. The chilled coils will draw in condensable gas vapors and solidify them. Key High's water-cooled traps have a stainless-steel sieve material placed between the cooling coils, increasing the trapping surface area. This gives the WCT Traps a 10X greater performance rating.
