All pneumatic QBV-BT air cylinders are quick-acting and feature factory “Air Cushions.” Air Cushions dampen vibration during the valve's opening and closing cycles. Pneumatic QBV-BT series valve air cylinders are double-acting and normally closed. Operating air pressure is 60 to 100psig. In the event of an electrical utility failure, the valve will close and remain closed till service is restored. All pneumatic QBV-BT series valves are shipped with a 120/60 solenoid.
