Key High's Compression fittings offer a quick and easy method for inserting glass or metal tubes into a vacuum system without tools. They are effective, reusable, and reliable.
Key High's Compression fittings include a body, Viton® oring, compression washer, and knurled nut. Finger-tighten the knurled nut, which pushes the compression washer into the oring, achieving a leak-tight seal. Key High's "QS" series can be welded or soldered into flanges, chambers, and forelines.
Compression fittings are offered in Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Brass, accept tube ODs from 1/16” to 2-1/8” and are intended for pressures as low as 2 x 10-8 torr. Viton® is bakeable up to 200°C
These compression fittings are also found in many of our hybrid adapters, mounted onto various flanges offered in this catalog.
