Key High's Butt Weld Fittings are manufactured using 304L stainless steel tubing and are typically used in exhaust lines and forelines. Key High's Stainless Steel Weld Fittings are fabricated from sanitary tubing, which is glass beaded to a smooth satin finish.
All crosses and tees in this catalog are fabricated using the pulled port technique. This method allows for full penetration fusion TIG welds. The pulled port method eliminates entrapment areas and assures rapid pump downs. This is the most desirable method for fabricating high and ultra-high vacuum weldments.
All fittings are easily welded using the TIG (tungsten inert gas) weld process. All Key High Butt Weld Fittings are clean, packaged, and ready for immediate use. All welds are leak tested on a helium mass spectrometer at 5 x 10-10 std cc/sec and display no measurable leak.
